Significantly, this tournament marked the first time a professional player—Haydon Pinhey, world-ranked #106—joined the Pro-Am series. Despite Pinhey’s strong showing (which included a 103 break), Simon Blackwell claimed the title, overcoming Dean Sheridan in the final. Dave Ackers shared third place with Gary Lees and logged the event’s highest break of 110.
